Sneak Peak

I have gotten tired of my table and chairs, I really want black ones so I decided to paint them and recover them. I am also redoing my curtains. I will post everything when I am done. The fabric is pretty wild for me but I am loving it.

Cuddle

Tanner has always loved to cuddle and he loves to suck on his fingers. Lately he has been into soft things. When he touches anything soft, he automatically lays his head down and puts his fingers in his mouth. It is pretty funny what he sometimes cuddles with. The other day at my mom's he was cuddling with batting. I didn't get a picture but we thought it was funny.

Tanner loves my mom's pillows she has on her couches, they are super soft.

Dave was taking a nap and he cuddled with the blanket Dave was using.

Tanner also loves Ella's Easter basket.

One of his favorite spots to hang out is between the couch and the wall because I have blankets behind there. I can always find him back there laying on the blankets.

I'm Happy!

"I'm Happy" is Ella's solution anytime she gets into trouble. She thinks that it will fix things and that she won't get in trouble if she says that she's happy. I'll be honest, it drives me crazy because most of the time that has nothing to do with what I am talking to her about.

"Ella don't push Tanner".

"I'm Happy".

"Ella you don't get a Popsicle because you pooped in your pants". (A whole other issue)

"But I'm Happy".

"Ella I asked you put your toys aways".

"I'm Happy".

"Ella if you don't stop it you are going to time out".

"I'm Happy".

She says it every time. Yes, some may say that its cute but its not cute when she says it for everything. When we try to talk about why shes in trouble, she says it over and over. I love her but nothing drives me more crazy then when shes says that. I think its partly because I feel like she isn't listening and doesn't care, she just doesn't want to get into trouble. I want her to be happy, so I try to say, "I'm glad your happy but that is not the problem right now". Right after she always says, "But I'm happy". Sometimes the only thing I can do is laugh.

Meeting Baby Liam

My sister and her baby boy came to visit my mom so jumped at the opportunity to meet him, plus we always love going to grandma's house. He is so cute. He slept a ton. Its amazing how much they grow in 7 months (Liam and Tanner are 7 months apart). Liam was oblivious to Tanner but Tanner spent a good portion of his time trying to get him. I am pretty sure he wanted to poke at his eyes and have a good time grabbing the rest of his face. We managed to keep Liam safe from him. We enjoyed seeing them and spending a couple of days with them.

Easter/Conference

We really enjoyed having Easter and Conference in the same weekend, what a great way to celebrate. We went to my parent's house for the weekend. It was filled with dying eggs, watching conference, hiding and finding eggs, playing, eating yummy food, easter baskets filled with toys and candy, Ella eating all of her candy, and so much more. Ella has been talking about "My Easter" for a couple of months now. She kept saying "my easter's coming up".

I really enjoyed the whole weekend. I love conference. There was definitely a theme for me, I really felt that I need to step it up and be a better mom. My children are so important and being a mother is what matters. I need to teach them more, love them more, appreciate them more and spend more quality time with them. Time here is short and precious, in the end my family and the Savior is what is important. I have definitely been thinking about what I need to improve on and there is plenty, but I just need to take it one day at a time.

Okay, the picture doesn't do justice to how funny it is to watch her jump rope. I don't know if she ever did jump over it. She just jumps and waves the rope around. My mom and me were laughing pretty hard.

Easter morning. Tanner didn't get a basket, just a toy. We'll start rotting his teeth next Easter.

Our Craft Show!

We finally had our craft show. Me and a good friend worked hard for two months to prepare for it. We made all sorts of fun things. We both love to do crafts so really it was a great excuse to get together. We had so much fun.

It was at our elementary school and it was their first year doing it so there was not a lot of people. We did well for how many people came through. It wasn't well advertised and many vendors didn't want to come since it was there first year. We didn't make a ton of money but I would do it again. It was a good experience. We will try a few different ways to sell what we have left. So if anyone is interested, let me know.
