Spring Break

Spring Break was so fun this year, I loved having the kids home. We had a little day trip to Spokane with Grandma and Aunt Janet. We went to the Children's Museum and did a little shopping. During Spring Break we had friends over, went swimming, the trampoline park, and went to grandma's for General Conference. Over the weekend we did a couple crafts with the kids, my mom did the caterpillars with them. My mom taught Ella how to make a hat on the loom, she loved it. We did some candy to help motivate the kids to listen, it actually worked really well. They had a lot of candy.

Soccer

We decided to put Tanner in soccer and we found a program that charges $10 for the whole season. Its once a week for an hour, it is perfect for Tanner and me. He really likes it. He isn't the most aggressive one out there but he is getting better each week.

Kidz Bop

I had heard from a friend that Kidz Bop was coming to Tri-Cities and I knew that was up Ella's alley. Kidz Bop is a group of kids that sing that popular song but they are clean versions. Its great because she loves the popular music on the radio so I want it clean. We ended up going with some friends, they loved it. They danced and sang the night away.

Grandma and Grandpa Kemp

Grandma and Grandpa Kemp came to visit in March, the kids were in heaven. We had a lot of fun. We went to the movies, lunch, craft shows, several parks, and just enjoyed having them with us. Sadly, this is the only picture I took the whole week.

We had a fun lunch date with grandma for her birthday.

Problem solver

We are weening Soffie off of her pacifier, one day she was playing with the play dough toys and she found a toy that worked quite well for a pacifier. She was pretty proud of herself.

Valentine's Day

For Valentines we did a few little surprises for the kids. We blew up balloons and wrote things we loved about them and had them all over their rooms when they woke up. I made a candy and cookie bouquet for them and we made heart cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

Father/Daughter Ball

Every year there is a Father/Daughter Ball in Tri-Cities and its become a tradition for Dave and Ella to go. Ella wanted to look fancy this year, so I let her wear some of my jewelry and I found her the cutest glitter purse. They had a great time dancing and they went with a few friends as well. 

Snow

New Year's Eve

 We had plans to spend New Year's Eve with family but the kids were sick so stayed home this year. We made pizza and we played games. Called it a night early so the kids could get some sleep. I think Tanner's face says it all.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was so much fun this year. The kids were so excited for Christmas morning. Ella kept waking up in the night and bothering grandma and grandpa because she didn't know what time it was. She was also SO excited for Christmas.

Ella got Equestrian dolls, she loved them. Tanner was so excited to get Octonauts. Soffie loved her giant stuffed Elephant from grandma and grandpa. We had our yummy Monkey bread, sausage, and scrambled eggs. We had a fun day of playing with new toys, jumping in a huge pile of leaves, and had fun playing with Liam and his cool race track when he showed up.
