Siblings

I know its blurry but I love that Ella is reading to Tanner. I thought it was so sweet to see them laying side by side.

Skating

Ella has been taking ice skating lessons for about 4 months and she loves it. A friend in my ward is the teacher and she was really excited to take lessons from her. She has improved so much over the months. She started out not being able to hardly stand and is now skating all over the place. She started out wearing snow pants and a helmet for protection but she is comfortable enough now that she doesn't seem to need any of that.

 

Spring Break

 We were really lucky this Spring Break, we were able to have Janet come stay with us for the whole week. It was so fun, I really miss having a sister live with me. We had lots of fun. We went to the Country Mercantile, the park, got slurpees, played with 2nd cousins, soccer practice, ate yummy treats, went to Ella's soccer game in the cold, had donuts from our favorite place, and much more.
While Janet was here she volunteered to babysit so Dave and I could go on a date, thanks Janet. We are all so excited that Janet and Nick will hopefully be moving to Washington in a few months.
Janet also helped me pick out and decide what to our family should wear for our family pictures, what a relief to have that done. I always stress about that part.  
 

April Fools!

 For April Fools we decided to play a  joke on Dave. Luckily he is always a good sport to my tricks and teasing. We decided to move his car. We moved it behind another car at the other end of the parking, and its a pretty big parking lot. Well, we should have moved it farther away because he did eventually find it but we had a good laugh before he did. After he searched for it, we rolled down our windows and yelled April Fools. The above picture is where the car was before we moved it.

Easter

Easter was a ton of fun this year. Our ward did not have an Easter egg hunt but our city has one every years so we decided to try it out. They divided the kids in to age groups, which was appreciated. My kids both got many eggs and had a lot of fun. They also had several small games and activities for the kids.
On Sunday, we dyed our eggs, did several hunts, and had dinner with grandpa Dave and Aunt Janet.

 My friend, Julie, brought her girls. Tanner and Danielle were going through their candy together.

 Our Easter bunny found a great deal on these animal bean bags and could not resist getting them for Ella and Tanner. He had a hard time hiding their baskets with their bean bags this year.

Parent Teacher Conference

This amazing little girl had an awesome parent teacher conference a few weeks ago. Her teacher had nothing but good to say about her. She is doing great academically and is well behaved in class. I am so grateful for Ella's teacher, she is structured and kind of strict. But she loves her students and I can tell that she wants the best for Ella. Ella loves going to school everyday, the girl loves to learn. I hope it continues.
After her conference I told her that she could choose to go get peeps from the store or get a blizzard from Dairy Queen. She loves her peeps.

St. Patrick's Day

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day. I put together a little treasure for them to find. We sent them on a treasure hunt with clues to find their treats. They thought it was fun. We also had a family over for a green dessert and games.
