Tanner

Haven't done a little update on the little guy in a while.

-He always informs me when he passes gas. He tells me tutted and that he is a tutting monster while he giggles of course.

-If you pretend bit him, he gets very angry and tells you to spit it out. He won't stop asking until you spit it out. Then of course he tells you thank you. 

-He is obsessed with hot chocolate, he asks for a cup almost everyday.

-He eats a pancake for breakfast almost everyday. 

-He knows pretty much all his letters and their sounds. Sadly I wasn't the one who taught him but I'm impressed with Leap Frog and their shows.
-Hes a screamer, when he gets upset with his sister he screams very loud. Its something we are working on and have been working on for a while. Lets just say he doesn't like hot sauce.
-Has little interest in potty training.
-Reverse psychology works almost every time with him.
-The other day I was getting ready for an adult dinner and I had chosen to wear a dress. When I came out Tanner told me that I looked beautiful and that my dress was cute. Even though hes only two it made me feel pretty good.
-If he is hurt a kiss always seems to make it feel better.
-He loves wearing his jammies, as you can see in the pictures.
-Still a snuggler.
-Loves his blanket and still sucks his fingers.
-If he is having a hard time and seems to be whinny, if I just sit down and snuggle him it usually will cheer him up. This boy needs lots of love.

Crazy Hair Day

At Ella's preschool they had crazy hair day. 

Names

So we have already started to think about names and I really don't have a super strong feeling towards any of them. I mean I really like them all but usually I'm leaning towards one. Dave isn't sure either. We wouldn't mind hearing others opinions. Here is what we have so far: Sophie, Abby, and Allie.

Outnumbered

The boys in our household are about to be outnumbered, we are having a girl and are very excited. I'll be honest I really wanted another girl, I'm ready to do all the cute dresses and girly stuff again. I'd been trying the ring on the string and looking at the Chinese Calendar to see what it predicted,. After seeing the Chinese Calendar and going back to see if it was right with the other two, I was convinced it was a girl. As the ultrasound got closer I was getting nervous because I wanted a girl but also I was a little worried about the baby being healthy. As I get older I worry more about those kinds of things, I remember there was a talk given during General Conference about children having disabilities and the difficulty of life. I started worry that something could be wrong but the day came and the ultrasound technician assured me that she looked healthy. I'm hoping that continues.
We all were able to go to the ultrasound, even my mom was able to come. The kids seemed to enjoy it, especially Ella. We can't wait to meet our little girl.

Visitors

I must say that one of the many benefits of living close to my parents is that when someone comes to visit we get to see them. My sister Nancy and her husband Marshall had a break from school so they headed to my parents house for the break. My sister, Stephanie and her son Liam came to visit since Nancy was coming. We were also surprised by my other sister, Janet who flew home to see everybody since Nancy was coming. It was a fun couple of days with several of my siblings. My kids loved seeing their Aunts and Uncle and their cousin Liam. Tanner and Liam got a long a lot better than they have in the past. It was cute to see them play well together. 

I got to do some fun things with my siblings as well. Several of us went to the movies to see "Hunger Games." My sisters, my mom and me got pedicures and went shopping. It was fun to see everybody and it is always sad to see them leave. 

Came out to check on the boys and found them in the window well.

 Tanner is always outside if grandpa is. He follows him around like a puppy dog, it pretty cute.

Easter

We had a great Easter. We spent the day at my parents and of course I forgot my camera. Earlier in the week we dyed eggs, the kids had a great time. I was glad when it was over. I don't know who thought it was a great idea to let kids play with dye. We only spilled one cup of dye. Our ward had a breakfast and egg hunt. Ella was so excited for the egg hunt, we practiced all week to make sure their hunting skills were up to par. Of course we got some pictures of the kids in their new Easter outfits. The kids had fun and I hope the kids have somewhat of an idea of what the real meaning of Easter is about, we had a couple Family Home Evenings about our Savior's death and resurrection.
