Leavenworth Fun!!

The Trevinos and our family decided to go to Leavenworth to meet our good friends, the Dicksons, who live in Tacoma. It was a great middle point for us all to meet and we had a great time. We had yummy food, great conversation, and lots of fun sledding. It was the kids first time sledding and they loved it. I think we just might have to make a yearly tradition. 

Festivities!!

We have been enjoying December, it seems like time is flying and Christmas is coming too quickly. I always get excited for Christmas but I don't want it to come because then its over. The Christmas decorations get put away, the Christmas music stops playing and it feels a bit sad. But we have been enjoying the festivities. We saw Santa at our Ward Christmas Party, we got a special visitor for the month of December, saw a reindeer, made ornaments, a gingerbread house, made goodies for neighbors, watched a lot of Christmas movies, and more. Just a few more days until Christmas, I have everything done. We are going to relax and just enjoy the next few days until Santa comes. 

This is Ajin, our elf. Ella named him. He has come to visit us until Christmas. He watches the kids and reports to Santa each night on how the kids have done. He always ends up somewhere new in the morning. He was taking an elf bubble bath with our marshmallows. 

Family Pictures

My sister-in-law, Jana, took some family pictures for us over Thanksgiving. She did an awesome job. Oh and I can't decide which family one to put on the wall, so if you have an opinion please let me know. Warning: there are a lot of pictures.

Gobble Gobble!

We spent the week at my parents. The kids had so much fun playing with cousins, they were sad to see them leave. During the week we made homemade ravioli, which was fun and super easy. We also made apple juice a couple of times. We picked apples and the kids found a huge pile of leaves that grandpa had raked up. The kids loved jumping in but their favorite part was being thrown in.

Me, my sisters, sister-in-law, and mom went and did a little shopping on black friday. We mostly went to Kohl's, we had a bunch of coupons so we went through the line almost 30 times and saved a ton of money.

I would have to say that the best part of the week was watching Marshall impersonating animals, he does a mean T-Rex. I was laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe.

We have been wanting a new TV for a while but needed a new TV stand for it. So we decided to buy an old dresser and refinish it. Dave helped me a lot. He took the top drawers out and made it so we had somewhere to put all our electronics. He did a great job.

Trick-or-Treat

I think the kids had the best Halloween ever. They were both so fun to watch. Tanner wasn't sold on dressing up the first time but after he realized that his costume meant candy he was all over it. He ended up loving his costume and was very protective of it, especially his hat. We had a ward trunk-or-treat, went to Dave's work for trick-or-treating and went door to door trick-or-treating on Halloween with cousins.

At the ward party they had a place set up and a photographer to take pictures.

We let Dave lead the kids to help keep them under control, he also gave each of the kids a garden light to carry. The kids were all hard core and didn't want to stop.
