Grandma and Grandpa Kemp

Dave's parents were able to come for a few days to visit. Soffie was going to be blessed so they flew up to be apart of it and to spend some time with us. The kids were so excited and had a great time with grandma and grandpa. We went to the pumpkin patch, played games, did crafts, carved pumpkins, went to Yakima, and spent lots of time together. 

Responsibility

A few weeks ago Ella came home with an award for "Responsibility." Apparently she received it at an assembly and everything. She forgot to give me the note letting me know that I could attend the assembly to see her receive her award. I was disappointed I didn't get to see her but was so proud of her for getting an award.

Blessing Soffie

Dave blessed Soffie Sunday, October 21 and it was a beautiful day. The blessing was sweet and simple. Soffie was really good during the blessing. We had Dave's parents there, my parents, grandpa and Ellen, Uncle Bill and Aunt Ruth, and Julie's family. It was a sweet day and we feel very blessed to have this sweet girl. We had a dinner after and it was nice to visit with family and friends. It was great to have family and friends involved in the blessing, it is always nice to feel that love and support.

Janet and Nick

My sister, Janet, got married. We are so happy for her and the wedding was beautiful. All of my siblings were able to come to the wedding, which is saying something because there are 7 kids total. Her hubby's name is Nick, and we think he is great. My kids fell in love with their Uncle Nick very fast, hes great with kids. They were married in the Columbia River Temple on October 12 and there was a reception in Mattawa that night. The reception turned out really nice. I will add more pictures later, once we get the photos from the photographer but here a few that I took.

 In college I took a floral design class, so I have done the flowers for two of my sisters wedding. I was a little nervous because it had been so long but my mom, Janet, Nick, and my dad helped. 

2 Months

I'm still so in love with this little girl, she really is my best baby so far. She loves to lay on the floor, especially if I'm talking to her. She is a very happy baby, she usually only cries if shes tired or hungry. I thought her head was huge but I took her to the doctor and her head is 51 percentile, her length is 93 percentile, and her weight is 81 percentile. She weighs 12 lbs 1 oz. She has a very averaged sized head just very chubby cheeks, which I love. 

Joy School

Tanner is doing Joy School with a few friends. He loves going. I know he loves going because he gets to play but I think he also likes it because he feels grown up and gets to go to school like Ella. A few weeks ago we went to the Country Mercantile for school and the kids had fun playing on the hay bales, seeing animals in the little petting zoo, and picking a pumpkin. 

Soccer Mom

I'm officially a soccer  mom, Ella has been playing soccer this Fall and is loving it. Her coach is my best friend's husband. Her best friend is on her team, a girl in our ward and two girls that she rides the bus with. She loves going to practice and is always wanting to practice at home. In one of her games she made two goals, and of course I was gone that week. Her teams name is "Sparkle Motion." Dave got certified so he could ref her games.
