Potty Training!

I have been potty training Ella hard core for a week now and it is not really getting any better. I don't know if she just doesn't understand or if she is not ready. I actually thinks its her desire, she doesn't care to. I don't know if I should stop or just keep going until she gets the desire. She is 3 so it is just starting to get a little ridiculous that she isn't trained yet. Any advice, should I stop or just keep going. I may go insane if takes too much longer, lets just say its been a long week.
